KAELIS
KAELIS is a Spanish symphonic metal band that has forged its own identity by blending the power of modern metal with epic orchestral arrangements, cinematic influences and a rich science-fiction narrative.

Rather than treating each release as a collection of standalone songs, KAELIS creates conceptual works in which music, storytelling, visual aesthetics and live performance become part of a single immersive experience. Every composition expands the band's own universe, turning each album into a new chapter of an ongoing saga.

After laying the foundations of their sound with Far Galaxy (2021), the band took a major artistic leap with Stellar Waves (2026), an ambitious space opera in which every track represents a chapter of the same story. The album received widespread acclaim from the specialized music press, with critics praising its songwriting, orchestral arrangements, distinctive sound and the band's ability to build a compelling conceptual universe.

KAELIS has also established a strong live reputation, sharing the stage with renowned Spanish metal bands such as Celtian, Débler Eternia and Lèpoka. Their performances combine musical intensity with a carefully crafted visual identity, theatrical staging and a cinematic atmosphere. Both audiences and critics have highlighted the band's ability to translate its fictional universe into a captivating live experience.

Interested in music since her childhood thanks to the influences transmitted by her family, from classical music to flamenco, she has been attracted to singing from a very young age.

She received her first singing and music theory lessons at the age of 16 at the Philharmonic Centre in her hometown, with conductor Florencio Rozi.
​
Since her teens, Bethany relates to bands such as Evanescence and Within Temptation. At the age of 19, she began to be involved in several metal projects, from symphonic black metal to folk metal. In 2011, she founded the symphonic metal band, Eteddian. In 2017, she begins taking singing lessons with Vanessa "Nane" Vocal Coach until 2020.

ADRIEN FOWL
Lead & Rhythm Guitars

26 February 1986
Adrien discovered his passion for music as a child when he first listened to Fear of the Dark by Iron Maiden. From that moment on, he knew he wanted to become a guitar player.
He started playing classical guitar at the age of 14 when he joined the local music school. Two years later, his grandfather bought him his first electric guitar, and he spent the next three years studying music and electric guitar with different teachers in Algeciras, his hometown.
At the age of 20, he founded Legendaria, a power metal band that allowed him to play many concerts following the release of their first album, Deus Vult, in 2009. The band split up in 2012 after recording a second album that was never released.
In 2010, he founded Light Among Shadows, a symphonic metal band that has released three albums: At the Gates of Dawn (2011), Welcome… Back! (2012), and Under the Waves (2018).
In 2014, Adrien moved to Seville, where he met Bethany, and they became close friends. After many years and experiences together, Kaelis and Light Among Shadows shared the stage for the first time in Seville in 2022, where Adrien was deeply impressed by Bethany’s band.
Two years later, Adrien was invited to play with Kaelis for a show in Seville, and the experience was an absolute blast. In 2025, Adrien officially joined Kaelis.
Adrien is an avid fan of music, literature, video games, and Warhammer.

CARLOS CASTREJÓN

Since his childhood Carlos had an attraction for heavy music which he initially tried to deny. In time, he gave in to his love for the genre despite pressures to follow mainstream trends. He owned his first electric guitar and started learning to play on a self-taught basis when he was 20. Today, that same guitar decorates his home’s living room.

Carlos has received guitar lessons from José Manuel Ortiz and later, in early 2000, he attended masterclasses with Ángel Ruiz, legendary guitarist from the band Storm. Since 1997 Carlos has enjoyed a prolific musical journey, playing for various groups within the hard rock and heavy metal genres.

Since he was child always had a great interest in music. The artists that moved his soul were Deep purple, Michael Jackson, Miguel Rios among others. Around the age of 16 was when he began to know what his place would be. His first bands were System of a down, Korn, Mudvayne, Deftones, Kamelot, Nightwihs. The band that had the biggest impact on him and motivated to play drums was Cinco Puntas O. When he was 18 years old, bought his first drum kit, a 300€ Ludvig CS Combo with which he began to take first steps with drums, leading to the creation of bands with friends and acquaintances in a completely self-taught way.

He started playing guitar at the age of 13, specializing in bass a few years later. In 1995 he formed his first band, oriented towards classic rock. Since then it has participated in several projects, also as a keyboardist. Currently works as producer and composer, while studying double bass and collaborating with several cover bands.
